Living to Serve is a Guatemalan, non-profit, interdenominational, Christian association that is sustained through donations from people and companies willing to serve. Living to Serve works for the good of families that lack access to economic resources by implementing programs that develop communities through building clean burning stoves and installation of water filtration systems, preventative health education, rebuilding infrastructure of schools, and collaborating with medical teams from all over the world to provide health care to the underserved.

In April of 2011, Mision Vida Nueva was founded by Jenna Haynes as she planned to follow the Lord to Guatemala to serve Him through serving the orphan. The very same year, Jenna and her husband, Geoffrey, who shared the same vision, moved to Guatemala to begin the journey. Since arriving, they have built a Christ-centered, government-accredited children's home in the poorest department, Alta Verapaz. Casa Gloria is home and family to children and babies who have been orphaned, abandoned, or abused. Casa Gloria is a refuge for these children where they are loved unconditionally and provided with everything necessary to succeed in life including the opportunity to have a relationship with Jesus Christ. Our hope is that it will be these beloved and purpose-driven children who will go out and change the world, one soul at a time.
